The Man from the Sky part 3

Valen was awakened from sleep by the take off of the spacecraft. He felt like he was going to turn into jelly from the g forces of the spacecraft taking off, but finally the spacecraft slowed down as it entered orbit. He heard the cheers of the crew as he burst out from the crate in which he was hiding. He pulled his gun from it's sheath, and slowly crept through the hallway. He spotted the captain of the ship strolling about the hallways with a big smile on the face. He grabbed the captain from behind and put his gun to his neck. "Woah Johnson this is no time to be playing games!" He thought it was some sort of joke. "This isn't a prank fucker, I want you and everyone else aboard this ship into the life pod NOW!" Valen could feel the captain shit himself a little bit. Gross. The captain called everyone over to the life pod, and they all saw the seriousness of the situation. After he was sure that everybody was in the life pod, he threw the captain in, shut the door, and hit the eject button.

Hmmm.... maybe I should have given them a few food supplies, Valen thought to himself. Oh well, we didn't make it very far into space, I'm sure they'll be fine. He then had another thought. If I'm going to the new world, there's probably already people there looking for me. He went to the cockpit and saw that the spacecraft was on autopilot towards the new planet. He didn't know how to properly set the trajectory, but he figured it didn't matter, since he was probably going to die in space anyways. So he put the spaceship on manual control, and changed the flight path to one completely random. He sat down for a quick snack, smoked some poherma and then moved to the hibernation room. He set the hibernation time for 10 years, smoked a little more, and then set himself up to sleep in deep freeze. The hibernation gave him increasingly more vivid dreams. He dreamt of a group of human like creatures, in a floating caravan, traveling along an old road.
