These are stories I made up long ago, fueled by dreams and psychedelic visions, I began writing concept albums to this mythology which was merged with that of a friend who told me of his own mythology, that of an ethereal gate that connects our world to a void of darkness. It was then that we stumbled upon said gate during a psychedelic voyage, and thus the stories unfolded. Although I never did release too much material from that era, I feel like I should at least write down the story. Some of the music can be found on the youtube channel Hellforest666, although no lyrics are present. I'm sure nobody cares, but I gotta throw it out there for some reason.
These stories were never really written down, the beginning segments which were written down were lost in a fire, this story has remained vaguely in my head ever since. A lot of information is lost on me, names of people and places, I can't recall all of them, so I'll be improvising names and parts of the story as I try to piece it together.
Something that might throw you off is the order in which the stories are presented. While seemingly unconnected, I promise you that these are different parts to the same story, which spans across 2 worlds and hundreds of years.
There are many parts to this story, The Dark Forest being the center and beginning of the story, The Man from the Sky gives supplement to that story, The Road being the precursor to The Dark Forest, and The Tales of Borgrim being the precursor to that story. Eventually I will get to The Origins, which tell of the creation of that universe and gives backstory to The Tales of Borgrim. Eventually, The Dark Forest will lead into The Catacombs of Time and Space which will lead to The Old World, which will eventually in the end merge everything together. The story beyond that point is a bit blurry, I'll probably leave it at an epic cliffhanger there. Sorry about the long disclaimer, but I just thought I'd clear up any confusions to the maybe 1 or 2 people (if I'm lucky) that might read this.
