As they wandered through the night, a fog began to shroud the moonlit skies. An uneasy feeling crept about as they moved closer and closer towards the forest. They had their suspicions that they were going the wrong way, yet they continued on their path as the sounds of the night seemed to vanish, and soon what should have been a noisy forest teeming with life became completely silent. The trail descended deeper into the forest, beyond a thick wall of trees, the fog now surrounding them. As they descended the small hill into the thick of the forest, it became very dark, and they did not think to bring torches with them on what was before such a bright night. When they got to the bottom of the hill, their eyes began adjusting to the darkness, and what they saw would chill the bones of any great warrior.
A dark and foggy forest with no color surrounded them, littered with inhuman corpses, stacked high against the trees dripping with a dark colorless blood. They froze in horror as they inspected the unholy grove in which they now stood. "What is this place?" They wanted to ask, but the horrors before them froze their speech. "Lets get out of here" one of them eventually said, but as they turned around they saw the path from which they came. A giant gate of steel, trees, blood, flesh and bones now loomed over them. Pulsing with magic, the gates gave off an unnerving aura. They soon noticed the shadows moving in the sky above them, it was too much to take in. Shaking in their boots, they fled through the gates from which they came back to their village, wondering if it had all been just a bad dream.
